How to Choose the Correct Power Rating for Heating Film？
.Heating power is the key factor for selection
. Buildings with energy efficiency class A–D can adopt low-power heating film: 80W/㎡ or 140W/㎡
. Buildings with energy efficiency class D–G are recommended for high-power models: 180W/㎡ or 220W/㎡
. For auxiliary heating, go with the lower power options: 80W/㎡ and 140W/㎡
. When used as the main heating source, select high-power versions: 180W/㎡ and 220W/㎡.
What is the ideal layout arrangement?
Full coverage of the entire room floor is not required.
Thanks to its high efficiency, the heating film can deliver excellent thermal comfort by covering just 75% of the floor area.
Prioritize installing it in frequently used zones such as walkways and the central living area.
Do not place the film under solid flat-bottom furniture; installation is allowed under legged furniture only.
Maintain a minimum clearance of 100mm / 4 inches from all walls.
Preparation before installation
A qualified electrician should run the power supply from the main distribution board to a maximum 16A safety switch. Power is then wired from the safety switch to the thermostat, with the SunAura heating film connected directly to the thermostat. The wiring follows the standard method applied for conventional heating mats.
