OEM / ODM Services
Your brand, our factory — custom sizes, wattages, branding and certification support from an integrated manufacturer.
Why Buy OEM / ODM Heating Products Direct From the Factory
SunAura is the manufacturing partner behind heating brands in Europe, North America and beyond. As an integrated manufacturer — not a trading company — we can take a product from concept to container under your brand. When you buy direct from our Qingdao factory, the engineering team that prints the graphene heating film is the same team that answers your WhatsApp, tunes the wattage for your market, and signs the batch QC record that travels with your container. There is no middleman margin, no unknown subcontractor, and no telephone game between your specification and the production floor.
This page is the practical procurement guide buyers ask for before an OEM or private-label order: how minimum order quantities actually work, which certifications we hold and which are prepared on request, what a factory audit and quality control cycle looks like on our floor, how samples move to mass production, and how film, mat, cable and thermostats are packed and shipped from Qingdao to your warehouse. Every figure below is drawn from our own factory records and the certificates already published on this site; where a number depends on your product and destination, we describe the process rather than quote a placeholder.
Who We Are as Your OEM Partner
SunAura Thermal operates from a dedicated manufacturing campus in the Huangdao District of Qingdao, China — Building 2, No. 407, Huaihe West Road. Founded in 2008, we have spent more than seventeen years as an integrated manufacturer of electric heating elements, and every order ships from the same campus where six automated production lines print, laminate and encapsulate heating film, build mats and cables, assemble smart thermostats, and finish low-EMF pet and propagation pads. Our products now reach customers in more than 50 countries, which means the paperwork, voltage builds and packaging standards of your destination are already familiar to us.
Because we control formulation, screen printing, lamination, termination and electrical testing in-house, we customise without passing you to a middleman. The engineering team stays on the call from sample to mass production. You can read the full production story on the factory and manufacturing page, and verify the documents yourself on the certifications and compliance page.
MOQ and Order Sizes — How It Actually Works
Buyers asking for a single “MOQ number” usually need to know two things: how small they can start for evaluation, and how the production threshold works for a private-label run. We keep the first deliberately low. Sample rolls, cut pieces and finished samples start small so you can test performance, voltage and branding before committing to a container. The production MOQ for an OEM order is agreed per product and per packaging artwork, and it is confirmed in writing on your quotation rather than as a fixed catalogue figure.
The reason we do not publish one blanket minimum is that MOQ depends on the product family and the customisation you choose. A repeat reorder from rolling stock ships fastest and carries the lowest threshold, while a private-label run with custom widths, custom wattage, printed boxes and a multilingual manual carries a different batch minimum. Larger committed volumes receive preferential unit pricing and priority scheduling on our planned shifts. Tell us your target product, market and annual volume, and we will propose the starting quantity that makes commercial sense for your launch — not a number designed to inflate your first order.
Full Certification Checklist for OEM Heating Products
Internal control is necessary but not sufficient for a product sold into regulated markets, so our safety claims rest on independent laboratory evidence. The checklist below separates the management-system and product documents SunAura already holds from the reports we prepare on request for your specific model and destination. Every row carries a certificate or report number you can verify yourself.
| Document / Report | What it covers | Status at SunAura | Supports |

Send us your model list and target market and we will share the matching original PDFs within one working day.
Factory Audit and Quality Control on Our Floor
Buyers who audit us quickly notice the same three things: the lines run automation rather than hand labour, the quality gates are instrumented rather than observational, and the engineering team that prints the film is the same team that answers your WhatsApp. Our QC system is organised around three gates that every lot must pass, plus a signed batch record.
- Incoming inspection — PET film, carbon paste and copper are verified against material certificates and sampled before entering the warehouse. Failures never reach the line.
- In-process control — coating density, print pattern, busbar registration and termination quality are monitored continuously, with spot measurements logged hourly.
- Outgoing inspection — 100% resistance and continuity testing on every element, sampled dielectric strength (hi-pot) and insulation checks, plus visual and dimensional verification against the purchase order.
- Batch QC PASS — each batch carries a dated, signed record of tests run and samples taken, issued with the shipment so it can be traced back to the raw-material certificates.
Aging-test rooms run samples from every batch continuously while temperature and current are logged, so drift shows up before dispatch rather than in a cold winter. Distributors, project owners and third-party auditors are welcome at the Huangdao campus, and we run live video factory tours when travel is not practical — the same walkthrough, filmed to your agenda, with samples, certificates and a live batch record ready. Book a walkthrough on the contact page.

Our finished range shows what is possible as a starting point: browse the graphene heating film, the pet and reptile heating pads, the outdoor snow-melting and de-icing mats, and the thermostats and controls we assemble and bench-test in-house. Custom sandwich constructions — a different protective film, adhesive system or lead exit — are built on our aluminium and special line without re-tooling the main film line.
Samples and Prototyping
Sample material for testing and photography is the lowest-risk way to begin. Tell us your target market so the correct voltage build is sent, and whether the sample is for performance validation, photography, or your own lab testing. Functional samples arrive with your branding for approval before any batch is committed, and free underfloor layout advice is included with mat and film projects.
For genuine ODM development — a new element construction, a PTC self-limiting variant, or a custom sandwich build — our R&D team develops the graphene–carbon ratio and the shielded construction on this campus rather than buying in a standard film. Prototypes move through the same electrical bench and aging checks as production, so what you approve is what later ships. Samples travel by express freight; ask our sales engineer for current sample terms when you request a quote.
Packaging, Export and Logistics
Heating film is thin, moisture-sensitive and easy to damage in transit, so export packaging is a designed system rather than a default box. Film rolls are wound onto reinforced cores, wrapped in moisture-barrier film and packed into cartons sized so the roll cannot shift; desiccant is included when the destination or season warrants it. Cable coils are strapped to pallets with edge protection, and thermostats — the electronics of the range — are sealed in anti-static bags with shock protection. Every carton is marked with the purchase-order reference, and pallets are stretch-wrapped and corner-protected for the sea crossing.
Goods leave under EXW or FOB Qingdao terms, with CIF and DDP arrangements discussed for customers who want delivered pricing. Containers (typically 40-foot high-cube) move by sea freight, time-critical loads by air, and samples by express. As a planning reference drawn from our export records, a container from Qingdao to Rotterdam or Hamburg typically takes 25–35 days at sea, to the US West Coast about 15–20 days, to Australia about 12–18 days, and to the Middle East around 20–25 days, before customs and inland delivery — always confirmed in writing at order confirmation. The full process, from palletising to the arrival check, is detailed in our article export packaging and logistics for heating film, mat and cable.
The shipping document pack is prepared from the same production data as the batch record: commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, certificate of origin, the CE declaration and RoHS/REACH references, plus the batch record for the products in that container. That cross-referencing is what makes the file audit-proof for your customs and your customer’s due diligence.
Payment and Lead Times — the Process
Every wholesale project follows the same loop: you send the product list, quantities, destination and voltage requirement and a sales engineer replies within one business day; we return an engineering proposal and samples; order confirmation comes as a proforma invoice with specifications, a scheduled completion date, payment terms and the document set; production runs the three QC gates; and we ship with the customs documents and after-sales support for your market.
Standard reorders from rolling stock ship fastest, and every quotation states a scheduled completion date rather than a vague estimate. Custom cut-to-length and OEM orders are scheduled after confirmation against our planned line capacity. Because the range is strongly seasonal, northern-hemisphere distributors commonly place a main spring order for the full season plus a smaller early-autumn top-up — this locks production slots before the August capacity is booked and smooths the line across the year. Payment terms, deposit balance and the exact completion date for your build are confirmed on the proforma invoice; tell us your project deadline and we will work backward from it.
Confidentiality and NDA
Your specifications, pricing and market plans are treated as confidential. We sign NDAs on request and do not sell private-label products back into your target market. The same engineer who runs your order handles your wiring and commissioning questions on WhatsApp, so commercial sensitivity stays inside one accountable relationship rather than being bounced between departments.

OEM / ODM FAQ
What is the MOQ for a private-label heating film or mat order?
Sample rolls and cut pieces start small for evaluation; the production MOQ for a private-label order depends on the product and the packaging artwork, and is confirmed in writing on your quotation. Repeat distributors benefit from rolling-stock arrangements that shorten reorder lead times.
Which certifications do you already hold, and which are prepared on request?
We hold ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 (valid to 12 Jan 2028), plus CE LVD/EMC conformity for the NHWK thermostat series, CE+RoHS for the cable range and CE-EMC for heating film, alongside SGS RoHS reports, ZCT EMC/IEC 60335 reports and CNAS inspection. Full multi-page test reports and destination-specific documentation are issued on request with your model list.
Can I customise voltage, wattage and branding for my market?
Yes. We build to 110 V / 230 V, tune wattages per project, offer PTC self-limiting variants on request, and print your logo on the film, packaging, manuals and cartons. Thermostats can be private-label HYWKGR units with your own Tuya app branding and faceplates, and manuals are produced in EN / DE / FR / ES / IT / PT / RU / NL / JA.
Can I audit the Qingdao factory before placing an order?
Yes. Buyers, distributors and third-party auditors are welcome at our Huangdao District campus, and we also run live video factory tours when travel is not practical. We prepare samples, certificates and a live batch record so you see QC PASS sign-offs, not just a quality manual.
What export terms and shipping documents do you provide?
Goods ship EXW or FOB Qingdao, with CIF and DDP arranged on request. Every container carries the commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, certificate of origin, CE declaration, RoHS/REACH references and the batch record, cross-referenced so customs and tender due diligence are audit-proof.
How do you protect my private-label design and market?
We treat your specifications, pricing and market plans as confidential, sign NDAs on request, and do not sell private-label products back into your target market. A single engineer manages your order end to end, including after-sales support.
