Display & Icon Guide
The K1M screen communicates the full heating state at a glance: the week icon shows the current day (MON–SUN), the time period icon identifies which programmed period is active, and the time display shows the clock in 24-hour format. The indoor temperature reading is shown large on the left of the display, the heating icon lights when the output is energised, the lock key icon confirms child lock status, and the mode icon indicates manual, automatic or holiday operation. Set temperature is always marked with the SET label so it is never confused with the measured room temperature.

Installation
- Drill and mount — install the expansion screw cartridges on the wall at a spacing of 60 mm (drill Ø 3–3.5 mm).
- Wire the back cover — use a screwdriver to separate the upper and lower covers, thread the wires through the back cover into the wire slot according to the wiring direction, leaving about 20 cm of wire for connection.
- Fix the bottom shell — secure the bottom shell to the wall with the screws, complete the connections and place the wires neatly, then cover with the front shell.
- Snap the cover — align the cover and buckle it into place at a 30° angle, then power on and pair with the Tuya app.

2. What happens to my settings during a power cut?
Settings are stored permanently in the device memory. When power returns, the K1M resumes the last programme and set temperature automatically — no re-programming needed.
3. How do I recalibrate the displayed temperature?
Use the temperature calibration option in the device menu or app to offset the reading against a reference thermometer, typically by ±1 °C to compensate for wall position or sensor location.
4. What is the antifreeze function?
Antifreeze mode keeps the room above freezing (protecting pipes and the heating system itself) while you are away, saving energy compared with leaving the heating on normally.
5. How does the child lock work?
Activate the child lock from the app or the device menu; the lock icon appears on screen and key presses no longer change settings. Deactivate it the same way when needed.
6. What loads can the K1M control?

Yes — the K1M pairs over 2.4 GHz WiFi with the Tuya smart app. If your router broadcasts a combined 2.4 / 5 GHz network, pairing still works on the 2.4 GHz band; if you run a separate IoT SSID, put the K1M on that network for the most reliable connection. 11. What cable or floor build-up should the NTC floor sensor be run under?
The external NTC floor-limiting probe should be routed beneath the heating film, mat or cable, centred between two heating runs, and secured with aluminium tape before the floor covering is laid. It is strongly recommended for wood, laminate and LVT finishes where surface temperature must be capped, and can be selected as the active sensor source in the device menu after wiring.
Can the K1M control electric underfloor heating film directly?
Yes. The K1M has a built-in 16 A relay rated for resistive electric loads up to 3600 W, so it switches heating film, heating mats and heating cables directly without an external contactor.
Does the K1M work with underfloor or air temperature sensing?
Both. It ships with an internal room-air NTC sensor and accepts an external floor-probe NTC (included) so you can regulate floor surface temperature for wood-floor protection.
