Hotel Floor Heating Mat

Model: SA-FLOOR-HEATING-MAT-HOTEL CE & RoHS Factory since 2008 OEM / ODM Welcome

Contractor-grade electric underfloor heating mat kits for hotel guest rooms, bathrooms and lobbies — 160 W/m², per-room thermostat control.

Overview

The Hotel Floor Heating Mat is a contractor-grade electric underfloor heating mat engineered for hospitality fit-outs: pre-spaced mesh cable in room-sized kits, fast to lay, quiet at night, and warm underfoot exactly where guests notice it — entrance halls, bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms. Unlike noisy fan heaters or bathroom radiators, it radiates silently from the floor, which is why hotel operators choose it as a quiet-room comfort upgrade and a year-round differentiator. It is part of our underfloor heating systems range.

Supplied as factory-direct kits — mat, floor sensor and a matched programmable or WiFi thermostat per room — it is specified by hotel renovation companies, resort developers and procurement groups across Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Pair each room with a K1M WiFi thermostat so housekeeping can pre-warm rooms between arrivals.

Key Features

  • Even, cold-spot-free warmth — fixed cable spacing on mesh guarantees uniform output across every guest room, so no complaint tickets about one cold corner.
  • Fast heat-up — reaches comfort temperature within an hour between bookings, helpful for turnarounds.
  • Thin, floor-height-neutral — installs in adhesive or under laminate/engineered wood without rebuilding floors or trimming doors.
  • Quiet & odourless — no fan noise, no dust circulation, no drying of the air — safe for sleep rooms.
  • Room-kit sized — standard lengths cover typical 8–25 m² rooms; mix widths per plan.
  • Guest-safe control — works with programmable or hotel WiFi thermostats with setpoint limits and optional child/guest lock.
  • Energy-conscious — zoning per room means empty rooms need not be heated; weekly schedules cut running costs.

Application Scenarios

  • Guest bedrooms — warm floors on wake-up and return; a quiet amenity that improves review scores.
  • Hotel bathrooms & wet rooms — see the dedicated IPX7 bathroom floor heating mat for splash zones.
  • Entrance halls & lobbies — welcomes arriving guests in winter and dries wet foot traffic.
  • Spa, wellness & restaurant floors — barefoot comfort around pools and treatment rooms.
  • Boutique refurbishments — the thin build preserves heritage joinery and floor levels.

How It Works

Each room kit is a mesh strip with the resistance cable factory-bonded at even spacing. Laid in adhesive or beneath the finish, it radiates heat upward; the room thermostat compares air and floor-sensor temperature against the schedule and cycles the mat on and off. Because rooms are zoned individually, an unoccupied suite holds a setback temperature, and housekeeping can pre-warm a room to guest comfort 30 minutes before check-in — the warmth you pay for is delivered only where and when it is needed.

Installation Guide

1. Mark the coverage plan on the subfloor, keeping 10 cm clear of fixed furniture and bathrooms-of-fixtures rules. 2. Unroll the mesh (cable side up), stick it down with adhesive, and fold the mesh at turns — never twist or cut the cable. 3. Lay the 3 m NTC floor sensor in its conduit between two cable runs, ending in the thermostat back box. 4. Test resistance before and after finishing. 5. Tile, laminate or wood over as normal; low-tog carpet only. Final mains and RCD wiring by a qualified electrician. For large public areas, engineers prefer pairing with our double-conductor heating cable routed in loops across the whole floor.

Safety & Certifications

Hospitality installations carry public-grade safety expectations: shielded low-EMF cable, flame-retardant backing, hi-pot tested every unit, and CE/RoHS certification under ISO 9001. Each room circuit is RCD-protected and governed by a floor-sensing thermostat that caps floor temperature — essential under laminate, wood and carpet. Thermostats support a maximum setpoint limit so guests cannot overheat the floor, and hotels can disable local controls in favour of central scheduling. Fire and electrical compliance documents are supplied for building-control submissions.

Factory & Quality

SunAura Thermal has manufactured electric heating elements in Qingdao since 2008, supplying hotel and resort fit-out groups, heating contractors and private-label brands in more than 50 countries. This hospitality mat is built on the same lines as our electric heating mats, with 100 % electrical testing per batch and traceable records. Because we are the factory, project kits are consolidated — mats, sensors, thermostats and labelled installation manuals for each room — reducing the contractor’s on-site coordination risk. Capability references are summarised on the home page.

Packaging & Shipping

Room kits are packed per-room: mat roll, floor sensor, wiring label and bilingual installation leaflet, grouped by floor in master cartons. Pallet loads are container-optimised, and urgent phase-one fit-outs can ship by express. Project shipments include CE/RoHS certificates, test reports and commercial invoices prepared for the destination voltage and plug standard. Seasonal hotel openings should book 6–8 weeks ahead; custom colours, private-label boxes and multilingual manuals are available for brand programmes.

OEM / ODM & Private Label

We OEM/ODM for heating brands and hotel procurement groups: custom mat lengths and wattages (120 / 160 / 200 W/m²), 110–120 V or 220–240 V builds, private-label thermostat overlays, branded manuals in your language, and room-kit consolidation. ODM projects start from the architects’ floor plans: we return a complete BOM, circuit design and commissioning checklist — a regular format for resort and chain-hotel exports.

Wholesale Pricing & How to Buy

Hotel programmes are priced project-by-project: volume tiers apply across room counts, and factory-direct pricing excludes trading margins. A sample room kit is offered before a bulk order so the finish and thermostat feel can be approved. Send us the room list, floor finishes and voltage; we size the layout and return a same-day quotation. Contact our sales team to start a hospitality enquiry for factory price, wholesale terms and free-sample arrangements.

FAQ

How do you price a multi-room hotel underfloor heating project?

Send the room list with floor finishes per space; we return a per-room BOM (mat, sensor, thermostat) and a project price with volume tiers. Sample kits are available for approval before the bulk order, and private-labelling can be added for chain brands.

Can guest rooms be controlled centrally or via app?

Yes. Pair the kit with a WiFi room thermostat such as our K1M or HY312 WiFi touch model: schedule pre-warming before check-in, set back on departure, cap the maximum setpoint so floors cannot be overheated, and guest-lock local buttons.

Which floor finishes work in hotel rooms?

Ceramic tile and stone at 160 W/m²; laminate and engineered wood need a transfer/heat-spread plate and lower wattage; carpet must be low-tog. We specify the correct output per finish in the project BOM.

Is the system noisy for sleep rooms?

Completely silent — there is no fan, pump or moving part. Heat radiates from the floor, and the thermostat click is the only sound, which is why it suits quiet hotels and bedroom zones.

Do you supply project documentation for building control?

Yes: CE/RoHS certificates, batch test reports, circuit schematics and installation manuals are issued with each shipment, in English or the destination language — routinely accepted by hotel project consultants and building authorities.
