Wiring & Installation
Mount on a standard recessed wall back box. Mains L/N feed the unit; the load output switches the electric heating or carbon film circuit. Lay the 3 m NTC floor sensor beneath the floor finish between two element runs, and route it into the sensor terminals. Where the circuit exceeds the rated load, switch a contactor from the thermostat output. Commission the programmed schedule after installation, and protect the circuit with RCD devices per local wiring rules.

No — the E51.716/16 is a button-operated, on-device programmable thermostat. If you need remote app control, choose our Y603H or Y819H WiFi thermostats, which share the same electric-heating and carbon-film application.
